On October 31, 2017, the donor countries and Greece signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU: Memorandum of Understanding) for the 2014-2021 programming period, which concerns the funding of nine (9) new programs. The Memorandum was the result of formal negotiations between the Greek authorities and the Financial Mechanism Committee (FMC) on the basis of the country's needs and priorities for targeting such funding.
The programs, as included in the Memorandum of Understanding, concern the following priority areas:

Of these programs, five (5) are managed by the Greek authorities, while the remaining four (4) are managed by the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO).
